Margaret River Premium Meat Exports Pty Ltd (MRPME) was formed in June 2003 by John McLeod and Jack Semini. Its purpose is to market the premium quality meat produced by farmers in the South West of Western Australia.
The company has developed strong alliances with select farmers who grow stock specifically for MRPME. These farmers adhere to strict feeding and management regimes specified by MRPME. The result is a quality product tailored to meet the needs of our customers.

A wine fed Wagyu programme was launched in 2006 by MRPME. This was in response to a request by a top Japanese celebrity chef who is one of the company's best customers. Upon visiting the Margaret River region this chef was struck by the quality of local wine and wanted to incorporate it with the locally produced Wagyu beef. ...
